Fertilizer Manufacturing Plants
TSP Plant

Established under the licence agreement of Albatros, NSP/TSP plant has 500 tons manufacturing capacity per day and is the first establishment of BAGFAS. TSP manufacturing line is not in operation at present and has been scheduled to be active in the coming few years after being renovated as to manufacture various kinds of phosphate fertilizers.

DAP – NPK Granulation Plant

BAGFAS has two identical granulation facilities. DAP or various compound fertilizers are being manufactured in the plant.
Put into service in 1980, these were the first facilities all over Europe of the date which operated tubular reactor technology, a system which was the thruput of Stamicarbon/Uhde/Bagfaş cooperation. By this techology BAGFAS has practiced a remarkable energy saving and reduced environmental pollution as well. Operating with 4-graded washing system, gaseous waste has been purified and fluid waste has been recycled. Upon the proven success of the application, many other companies both in Turkey and abroad started to use tubular reactor technology. The two facilities could process either monotype or different kinds of products. Production capacity of each facility is 800 tons compound fertilizer or 575 tons DAP fertilizer per day. As per monotype production the total capacity is 1.600 tons NP/NPK or 1.150 tons DAP per day.

Cyristal Ammonium Sulphate Facility

The facility produces chrystal ammonium sulphate from sulphuric acid by gaseous ammonia. This system operates with Uhde synthesis method which is the only one in Turkey and one of the very few all over the world. Ammonium sulphate is produced in 4 lead-coated reactors with the daily capacity of 800 tons.
